Welcome at Art Gallery MemoJacq byTristan Roggen
Art gallery MemoJacq is part of the legacy that comes with the former buildings of the famous coffee roasting company Jacqmotte in the Marolles, situated between the rue Blaes and the rue Haute. The buildings were renovated at the end of the eighties and an important development project was started by the famous architect Michel Jaspers. The site was rebuilt to house offices, apartments, shops and galleries. The entire neighborhoud revived a new elan thanks to this project. In the meantime the Marolles became once again one of the most popular areas in Brussels. The entire area, from the Sablon till the famous square Jeu de Balle with it's daily flea market, is populated with shops, antique shops, brocantes, design, vintage and art galleries. Since many years it's a place were people gather to discover art, antiques, decoration, design, vintage and what ever one can think off out of the ordinary. The space MemoJacq, rue Blaes 94, covers a surface of 180 m². We exihibit paintings, sculptures, prototypes and special designs or curiosa. We thrive to achieve a good mix of high-end art works in different materials and disciplines. We organise exhibitions with 1, 2 or 3 artists or around a specific theme. |
